Starwood Energy Group Global LLC, a private investment firm that deals in energy infrastructure, has acquired a 250-megawatt wind turbine farm, the Northwest Ohio Wind Project, located in Van Wert and Paulding Counties.

Starwood, of Greenwich, Conn., said its investment affiliate purchased the wind farm from Trishe Resources Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Construction of the wind farm began in December, 2013. The first phase, which will generate 100 megawatts, could be operational by late 2015.
