The sixth annual Southwest Energy Summit has been scheduled for March 26 and March 27 at Sweetwater’s Nolan County Coliseum.
Organizers expect about 50 outdoor and indoor exhibits and up to 200 energy and governmental leaders, according to a news release.
An agenda shows conference sessions in subjects such as exploring energy resources from oil and gas to wind, nuclear and solar power; transportation; pipelines and railroads; regional studies; electric power strategies; and environmental compliance and water issues.
Registration is $300 and exhibits and sponsorships are from $750 to $5,000, with discounts for members of groups including the Cline Shale Alliance and the Texas Wind Energy Clearinghouse.
The conference moved to Sweetwater last year after being hosted by Odessa. People can register online.
